With vHub, shippers, brokers, and 3PLs can effortlessly connect with drivers, carriers, trailer rental companies, and owner/operators to find the capacity they need. The platform also enables logistic companies to monetize their underutilized assets by renting or listing idle trailers, all made possible by user-friendly tools like Badger and Interlock. By digitizing the load-out process and consolidating everything into one convenient hub, vHub simplifies the entire experience.
Situation
vHub aims the development and deployment of “Uberisation” for trucks and trailers by creating a marketplace where carriers can discover customers and optimize operations. The platform connects shippers, brokers, 3PLs, and individuals seeking capacity from drivers, carriers, trailer rental companies, and owners/operators.
Task
To design and deploy a robust DevOps infrastructure using a systematic approach that supported vHub in building an efficient platform for listing Reservation slots, and managing reservations, bookings, and equipment. The goal for vHub’s platform was to integrate cloud solutions with DevOps practices to streamline provider network management and improve back-end processing. Carrier drivers repositioning trailers often face challenges in finding available Reservation slots, and this platform aims to address those needs efficiently.
